Video: Gautam Gambhir”s soldier-selfie is what every Indian should do: We all are aware of Gautam Gambhir”s patriotic side. The Indian opener has always been vocal about the contribution of the Indian army towards the motherland and has time and again tweeted about the respect the real heroes deserve in our country.
The Indian opener, who has been of late tweeting a lot about the sacrifices made by India”s armed forces, very recently also decided to pay for the expenses of the children of 25 CRPF personnel who were killed by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh
Gautam very recently took to Twitter asking fans for a “soldier selfie” and the left-handed batsman led from the front, this after he clicked a selfie with an army Jawan at the airport.

In another act of respect, the left-handed batsman was seen asking an army jawan at the airport for a selfie. Gambir was seen walking up to him and having a chat after which he requested the jawan for a selfie. On realizing the pic wasn”t clear, Gambhir once again clicked the picture as fans surrounded Gambhir for a selfie with him later.
Post this selfie, his Twitter timeline was flooded with soldier-selfies as fans all over the world began clicking selfies with army jawans. Gambhir kept retweeting.
