Australian quickie Jason Behrendorff, who recently rose into the news after his rattling India’s batting order in the second match of the three-match T20 series in Guwahati, was compared to WWE superstar John Cena who has a huge fan base in India.

The fans found much of a resemblance between the fast bowler and WWE fame John Cena and a college where he was seen beside John Cena spread like fire on the social media platforms. Despite all these, the pacer feels he is not as destructive as Cena is.

While having a chat at the post-match press conference, Behrendorff seemed amused after getting to know about the comparison.  A reporter asked him, “Some of the fans seem to see a likeness between you and the professional wrestler John Cena. Have you ever got that?” The question left him awestruck but was quick to gather a smile on his face while he said, “No I haven’t. But from what I can understand is that he is a fair bit bigger than I am. So, but yeah, I’ll take it.”

The left-arm fast bowler who made his debut for the Australian side in the first match of the T20 series in Ranchi shook the Indian batting order when he removed opener Rohit Sharma and number three batsman Virat Kohli early in the innings. Later he also picked the wickets of Shikhar Dhawan and Manish Pandey. India lost the game by eight wickets with 27 balls to spare courtesy a brilliant partnership from Travis Head and Moises Henriques.

The third match is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on October 13 will be the series decider and both the team will look to finish the tour on a positive note.
