Pakistan retained their top spot in the T20I rankings as they decimated Australia in the triseries. While Fakhar Zaman”s innings was widely appreciated by the experts and critics, brilliant fielding abilities from Pakistan cannot be discounted.

On the other hand, their star batsman Fakhar Zaman is now placed second in the latest T20I batsman rankings. Pakistan lost only one game in the series and made sure to prove their mettle in the shortest format of the game.

Pakistan will now play a five-match ODI series against a “weaker” Zimbabwe side starting from July 13. All the matches will be played at Bulawayo and it will be interesting if Zimbabwe board look to resolve the issue with the players. Zimbabwe though looked competitive in the triseries, failed to create an impact due to the absence of star players.
