Chennai Super Kings won the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets comfortably. Jadeja played a vital role in clinching the victory with his spell of 3/18. “Thala” Dhoni exhibited his finishing skills once again as he made sure to reach the target in 18th over.
Meanwhile, the franchise has posted a video on their Instagram account that is winning hearts all over the internet. Dhoni was seen taking a “golden retriever” to the dressing room. An absolute pet lover Dhoni was seen saying the phrase “My friend is here” to his mates in the room.
He was accompanied by several people from the administration department of MCA stadium, Pune and Deepak Chahar. Shane Watson and Chahar were spotted playing with the dog and it was a lovely sight for all the Chennai fans out there.
MS Dhoni is an ardent lover of dogs as he even has three at his residence. Several videos of him instructing his dogs can be seen in the Instagram account.
Chennai is now placed second in the points table and almost made into playoffs. The top spot has become a musical chair between the Chennai and Hyderabad teams.
Chennai will be facing Rajasthan Royals in their next match at Jaipur on May 11(Friday).
