Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were blessed with a baby girl on 11th January 2020. The Indian captain shared the good news with all his devotes on his official social media accounts. Kohli is thrilled to enter a new phase in his life and wants everyone to respect the secrecy of his family.
Anushka gave birth to the couple’s first child at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The power couple of India has since then been receiving wishes from universally as everyone is elated after the arrival of their newborn. So far Virat and Anushka have stayed away from posting any photos of their little one on social media.

The couple is very particular about their privacy and wants to fully enjoy this new phase of their life. As per the report in Bollywood Hungama, Virat and Anushka are not allowing any gifts and even the entry of close relatives has been put on hold at the hospital. The visitors in the nearby rooms are also not permitted to have a look at the new-born.
This doesn’t come as a surprise as Virat after the birth of his baby girl had requested everyone to respect the couple’s privacy.
“We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat”, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli had written.

Meanwhile, since the big announcement social media has been buzzing as everyone is cheering for the couple popularly known as “Virushka”. Almost every teammate of Kohli left their wishes for the new-born as a new blessing has entered the couple’s lives.
Furthermore, the team India aptain will not be taking care of both Anushka and his little one before he returns on the cricket field. Kohli is likely to return in the side for the 4 Test match series against England that kicks off from February 5.
