India received a massive blow on the second day in the fourth Test match as they lost two quick wickets. First Jack Leach dismissed Cheteshwar Pujara for the fourth time in this Test match. In the very next over, England all-rounder Ben Stokes dismissed Virat Kohli for a duck. He came into bat just after the fall of Pujara’s wicket but Stokes did not give him the time to settle down.

Ben Stokes bowled an effort ball that climbed up well and took the gloves of Virat Kohli and Ben Stokes completed a comfortable catch. England thus have made a good start getting two key wickets of the Indian batting line-up on day 2. This was Kohli’s second duck in the series after he scored a duck in the second Test in Chennai. He was in for just eight deliveries.

The two maverick cricketers were up against each other on day 1 of the fourth Test. They had a heated conversation after  Stokes tried to sledge Mohammed Siraj. Siraj complained to Kohli and the two cricketers then had a go at each other. The video went viral on social media and garnered a lot of attention.

The conversation soon became lively as both Stokes and Kohli looked fired up. The umpires quickly came around the two players to calm them down but both Kohli and Stokes continued to have a go at each other. This is not the first time the two charismatic players of their respective sides have had a fired-up exchange on the field. Stokes and Kohli have a history with each other as both never back down from a fight and are always ready to have a rivalry on the field.

Ben Stokes scored a valiant 55 but England were bowled out for 205. Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin shared seven wickets between themselves as Siraj took two and Washington Sundar took the big wicket of Stokes. Meanwhile, India in their second innings have now lost three early wickets after Pujara and Kohli fell in the first hour of the second morning.
