Virat Kohli Thanks His Fans After Completing The Milestone Of 100 Million Followers On Instagram

Virat Kohli is known for breaking records both on and off the field. The Indian captain recently hit the mark of 100 million followers on Instagram. Kohli became the first-ever Indian to achieve the rare feat on the popular social media platform. He became just the fourth athlete in the world after Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar to achieve the mark of 100 million followers on Instagram.

Kohli made sure he thanked his adoring fan base as he posted a video to celebrate his achievement of 100 million Instagram followers. The video begins with the words “milestone achieved together” as he highlighted some of the most precious photos that he posted on his official Instagram account.

Virat Kohli Completes 100 Million Followers On Instagram

“You have made this journey beautiful. Feeling blessed and grateful for all the love. Thank you,” Kohli captioned the post, and added “100 million #instafam”.

The video had a photo montage of some of his most special Instagram photos. From his childhood photo to his wedding day to a picture of him receiving the Khel Ratna from President Ram Nath Kovind, him celebrating a century in the presence of his adoring fans in the stadium and many more.

Coming back to things on the field, Kohli will be leading the Indian side from tomorrow in the 4th Test at Ahmedabad against England. Kohli and his men will be determined to win the last match and qualify for the ICC world Test championship final alongside New Zealand. India came back from behind in the series and defeated England in the last two Tests to take a 2-1 lead in the 4 match series.

Meanwhile, here’s what Virat Kohli said about achieving 100 million followers on Instagram in a virtual press conference ahead of the 4th Test.

“I look to improve myself as a cricketer and as a person not inspired by how many followers I have on Instagram”, he said.
