“Not A Club Match’, Yuvraj Singh Trolls Youngster Shubman Gill On Instagram

Yuvraj Singh was at his humorous best after he saw Shubman Gill’s post on Instagram. Shubman Gill was drafted in the India side for the final ODI against Australia at Canberra. Often touted as the next big thing of Indian cricket, Gill impressed everyone with his brief knock. The 21-year-old opened the innings and looked in full command of his game.

Fans for the first time fans witnessed Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill bat together for India. Gill looked like he belonged on the stage as he matched the Indian captain shot per shot. When it seemed Gill will score his maiden half-century he was dismissed on 33 when he failed to execute a sweep shot.

However, the knock will do Shubman a world of good as he is expected to get more chances in ODI cricket in future. Team India went on to win the final ODI by 13 runs and registered their first win of the Australian tour. Like every other Indian player, Shubman Gill too posted a mandatory Instagram post with his teammates after India clinched the match.

Interestingly in one of the photo, Shubman was seen standing with his hand in his pocked which amused Yuvraj Singh. The former India cricketer always finds a way to tease youngsters by posting hilarious comments under their posts on social media. Yuvraj made everyone laugh out loud when he mocked Shubman on Instagram.

“Indeed a pleasure batting alongside the great @virat.kohli! Maharajjeb vicho kado India da match chal reha club da nahi (which means: Why are your hands in your pocket? You are playing for India, not a club)”, wrote Yuvraj Singh.

Meanwhile, this is not the first or the last the time Yuvraj has taken a whimsical dig at youngster Shubman Gill. The talented Indian batsman will now prepare for the much-anticipated 4 match Test series against Australia which will begin on December 17.
