Just before play began in the final session of the third day at The Oval, Virat Kohli was seen delivering an impassioned speech to his India teammates.

India’s pacers troubled Australia with some ruthless spells following heroic batting performances from Ajinkya Rahane (89) and Shardul Thakur (51), and Kohli was seen giving a pep talk to his teammates just before play resumed after the tea break on Friday.

Australia established a first-innings lead of 173, and India was bowled out for 296. Nevertheless, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami bowled with a lot of fervor, and the former was rewarded with the wicket of David Warner near the end of the second session.

The Test was still in favor of Australia, but in their long-running rivalry, India has pulled off some amazing comebacks. India had triumphed in the Eden Gardens Test in 2001 despite following-on, achieving one of the greatest comebacks in Test cricket.

Kohli answered with a mysterious Instagram story.

As soon as he entered the field, Virat Kohli attempted to motivate his team by giving what appeared to be an inspirational speech, to the attention of even the captain, Rohit Sharma.

At Lord’s in 2021, the then-captain Virat Kohli is infamous for ordering his bowlers to punish England’s batters. A memorable Test victory for India was orchestrated by Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, and Jasprit Bumrah in response.

In recent months, Virat Kohli has returned to form. Prior to ending an ODI century drought in Bangladesh, he scored his first T20I century against Afghanistan during the 2017 Asia Cup.

Early in 2023, Kohli defeated Sri Lanka twice more in one-day internationals, and he then followed those feats with a commanding 186 in the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Virat Kohli had a fantastic IPL season as well, finishing with back-to-back hundreds.

However, in the World T20 Championship final, Virat Kohli did get hit by a peach of a delivery from Mitchell Starc at a crucial moment before Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, and Shardul Thakur got India out of trouble and gave them a chance to fight.
