One thing that was common in both innings was that India was chasing the target here. Virat Kohli has been called the Chase Master by cricket experts across the world. It is because he has the perfect template for chasing any score, be it big or short. At his best, what Kohli always did was run singles, and pace his innings calmly.

With over 51 centuries in the ODIs (One Day Internationals), Kohli is in a league no one has ever touched in this format. One of the highlights of his both innings against Pakistan and Australia was the calmness he had at the pitch.
It looked very much like Virat had no discomfort in facing any bowler. While he got out against Australia for 84, if he hadn’t gone for the big shot, there was another century in the books for sure. But if one looked carefully, Virat isn’t the only one playing calmly, it is the whole Indian team.
