Virat Kohli rested for South Africa series
Besides, the IPL schedule is over for RCB and Kohli. Sanju Samson led Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated RCB by seven wickets, in their Qualifier 2 encounter, at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, on Friday, May 27.
Jos Buttler’s unbeaten century sealed the deal for RR, while RCB, with the exception of Rajat Patidar and Josh Hazlewood, stumbled miserably against Prasidh Krishna, Obed McCoy, and the overall RR bowling lineup.
Furthermore, Kohli after another not-so-good run with RCB this time will be rested for the upcoming home series against South Africa. After which, he will be heading to England for a test and white ball fixtures, along with the other senior members of the Indian team.
