Virat Kohli Presents Special Gift To Delhi’s Shivam Sharma Following Railways Victory

Virat Kohli made a special gesture towards Delhi’s Ranji Trophy hero Shivam Sharma after his remarkable 5-wicket haul against Railways in their victory on Saturday, February 1. Delhi triumphed by an innings and 19 runs in the Elite Group D match at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Kohli’s return to the crease didn’t go as planned, as he was dismissed for just 6 runs by Himanshu Sangwan. However, Delhi’s other players rose to the occasion, with Ayush Badoni smashing a bold 99 and Sumit Mathur excelling with both bat and ball.

Mathur took 3 wickets in the first innings and scored 86 runs, earning the Player of the Match award for his all-round performance. Shivam Sharma also shone, dismantling the Railways batting lineup in their second innings.

The spinner took to Instagram to share the special gift he received from Kohli following his impressive performance in the second innings. Shivam revealed that Kohli had signed the match ball for him, and he was overjoyed by the star batter’s thoughtful gesture.

Shivam expressed that the bowling performance would always hold a special place in his heart, and Kohli’s autograph on the match ball made it even more memorable. He also planned to post a picture of himself with Kohli in the dressing room, along with other photos taken after the match.

“This 5 wicket haul will always be close to my heart. Legend himself Virat Kohli bhaiya signing the ball for me made it more special. God is great and kind,” said Shivam Sharma.
