Before their match against Australia, the entire Indian team posed in the new Test uniform while competing in the World Test Championship final in England.
BCCI recently announced a partnership with Adidas for India’s uniforms across all three formats, just a few days prior to the start of the ICC World Test Championship final.
The stalwarts of the Indian team posed in the new Test jersey ahead of the pivotal match against Australia.
They gave fans a preview of the new uniform they will see the team sporting beginning on Wednesday at the Oval.
It was possible to see players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja, and others posing in the new Test uniform.

In a press release announcing the collaboration, BCCI secretary Jay Shah stated: “We are committed to assisting in the growth of the game of cricket . We could not be more excited to partner with one of the world’s top sportswear brands, Adidas, in this journey””.
“Adidas will play a significant role in influencing the performance and long-term success of various Indian cricket leagues. Thanks to its outstanding products, long history in sports, and broad global presence”.
According to the board’s press release, “Adidas will receive exclusive rights to manufacture uniforms for all game formats under the contract, which is in effect through March 2028”.
For the BCCI’s men’s, women’s, and young teams, Adidas will serve as the sole supplier of all match, training, and travel apparel.
The first time Team India will wear the three stripes will be in June 2023. They will make their new uniform debut at the World Test Championship Finals.
In an earlier video shared by the BCCI, a number of star players posed in the new ODI and T20I kits.
Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, KS Bharat (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, and Mohd. Are the other members of the team, along with the captain, Rohit Sharma.
Shamir Mohd. Ishan Kishan, Jaydev Unadkat, Umesh Yadav, and Siraj (wk).
Mukesh Kumar, Suryakumar Yadav, and Yashasvi Jaiswal are backup players.
