The couple, already parents to an elder daughter named Vamika, shared the news after Kohli had been absent from cricketing action for nearly a month, sparking conjecture. The former captain of the Indian cricket team put an end to the speculations by confirming the news on social media.
Kohli posted with caption: “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world.”

A circulating image captured Kohli seated at a restaurant alongside a child, purportedly taken in London with speculation suggesting the child is Vamika. Kohli, despite his absence from the Test series against England due to the arrival of his son, expressed his elation on social media following India’s remarkable series victory against England. India clinched a historic five-wicket triumph over England in the fourth Test match in Ranchi, securing an insurmountable 3-1 lead in the five-match series.
