Team India skipper Virat Kohli always throws the ball at the stumps whenever he has the ball in hand during the field. During the second session on day 3 of the Ahmedabad Test, Kohli once again tried to hit the stumps but ended up sharing a light moment with Joe Root.

The Indian captain got his bullet throw all wrong as the ball ended up hitting Root on his unmentionables. Immediately Root looked in pain as Kohli went straight away to him and apologized which made all the players chuckle.

Luckily Root was fine but the two captains of their respective sides shared a hilarious moment between a tense Test match. The two did a fist bump as Virat Kohli patted Root on his shoulder and apologized.

The England captain was once again looking the best batsman of his side before he was dismissed on 30 by Ravichandran Ashwin. The master Indian spinner removed the England captain as he trapped him right in front. England wickets are once again falling thick and fast as their technique against spin is once again getting exposed. The visitors are currently 72 for 6 and are still trailing by 88 runs which looks far away at this stage.

Meanwhile, it is highly likely that India will win the Test match on day 3 itself. After winning the Test, Virat Kohli’s side will qualify for the ICC world Test championship final at will clash against New Zealand at Lord’s. Earlier on day 3, Washington Sundar once again showed his prowess with the bat and helped India get a lead of 160 runs. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to complete his maiden test ton and remained unbeaten on 96.
