The BCCI has announced the list of award winners for the year 2017/18 season today. The awards are given to the best international and domestic performers of the past year. BCCI started this awards ceremony in 2006/07.
For the year 2017/18, the Indian team captain and number 1 ODI batsman in the world was awarded the prestigious Polly Umrigar award with great consistent performances during international cricket over the past 2 years. Kohli has received the Polly Umrigar award for the 4th time in his career.
In the last 3 years, Kohli has scored 2575 runs at an amazing average of 91.90. He scored 4 double centuries in 4 successive test series. Under the captaincy of Kohli, the Indian team achieved the nine successive test series win. Currently, the Indian team are number 1 test side in the world.
BCCI will also give awards to the top women player of the year. For the year 2017/18, Smriti Mandhana would be awarded best International cricket for women.
In the 2016/17 BCCI awards, Harmanpreet Kaur was named as the Women Cricketer for her brilliant performances in the World Cup 2017. Kaur scored a terrific 171 in semi-finals against Australia which helped Indian women to qualify for the finals.

10. Lala Amarnath Award for Best All-rounder in Ranji Trophy- Parveez Rasool of Jammu and Kashmir
11. Lala Amarnath Award for Best All-rounder in Domestic Limited overs- Krunal Pandya
