We all know about Virat Kohli and his love for dogs. Virat Kohli has a pet dog at home named Bruno. Bruno is his workout buddy and partner-in-crime. The Indian captain has posted several selfies with Bruno on his Instagram account. The Indian captain found a new fur-friend at VCA Stadium during the second test against Sri Lanka.
BCCI on their Twitter account posted a video in which Virat is playing with a gorgeous white security dog. The dog looked pretty happy to see the Indian skipper and wasn’t ready to leave him. Kohli patted him and gave the ball which was in his hand and finally left. Virat also didn’t seem too happy to leave him!
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is also known for his love for dogs. He has videos of playing with his dogs on his Instagram account. Once when India was playing at MCA International Stadium in Pune, Dhoni fell in love with a security dog and asked for permission to take him home.
The authorities are not allowed to let anyone adopt security dogs but would have given in to Indian captain’s demands. However, Dhoni realized that and took his request back. Rohit Sharma is another dog-lover in the Indian team.
India is currently playing Sri Lanka in 3 tests. After that focus will shift to 3 ODIs and 3T20I series starting on December 10. After that in January, they tour South Africa in perhaps their toughest cricketing assignment in 2 years. 2017 has been a very successful year for Kohli with the bat. This year he has scored 1406 runs in ODIs at an average of 76 with 6 hundreds.
