Reports suggest that Virat Kohli has declined to appear on an on-screen advertisement with Deepika Padukone. This cost the RCB franchise a huge load of money.
As per reports, the franchise was in talks with goibibo worth Rs. 11 crore and this led the franchise to pay this hefty sum on behalf of Virat.
The duo was set to appear in an ad for goibibo, an online platform for travel and hotel bookings.
However, Virat”s contract did not allow him as RCB management has included a clause in his contract saying “he should not share a commercial space with other celebrities”
Few sources close to the franchise said that the deal was scraped off as they got a better one.
