A couple of days ago, Virat Kohli had requested the BCCI to allow wives and girlfriends during the overseas tours. However, the Committee of Administrators (CoA) appointed by the Supreme Court of India said that it isn”t considering to reach a conclusion all of a sudden.
It is to be noted that as per rules and regulations, wives are allowed to stay with players for a period of two weeks during the abroad tours. Even in the recently concluded test series against England, the families left prior to the warm-up game (Essex).
