Steve Smith and Virat Kohli appeared for a light chat show for Cricket Australia ahead of the first Test in Adelaide starting from December 17. Wasim Jaffer took this opportunity to troll Cricket Australia, saying that this is a way to hype the series by making the two modern legends preview the series.
While Steve Smith is making comeback to Border-Gavaskar Test matches after missing the last series against India, Kohli will be playing just the first test before flying home on parental leave. The situation called for a perfect chat show featuring the two best batsmen in world cricket and Wasim Jaffer did not waste any time in showing his meme game on Twitter.
The official Twitter handle of Cricket Australia (CA) shared a small trailer of a special Question And Answer session between Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Aussie star batsman Steve Smith.
“Ahead of the Vodafone Test series, the two best batsmen in the world sat down for a special Q&A…Stay tuned for the full chat! #AUSvIND,” the Twitter handle of Cricket Australia captioned its post on Tuesday.

The India-Australia Test series is one of the most anticipated bilateral series during the COVID era of cricket. The return of Smith and Warner back in the Australian team and the absence of Virat Kohli from the last three tests has given the series a huge sub plot amid the ferocious contest between the bat and the ball.
Smith and Kohli are placed first and second in the current ICC Test rankings. Smith has 991 rating points while Kohli has 887. India are the current holders of the Border-Gavaskar trophy.
