[WATCH]- “Aapki Hairstyle Abhi Viral Hai” – Shivam Dube Gets Friendly Banter From Teammates

Star all-rounder Shivam Dube became the subject of some friendly teasing by his India teammates ahead of the second T20I against New Zealand, scheduled for Friday, January 23, in Raipur. Upon Team India’s arrival in Raipur, Ravi Bishnoi, Axar Patel, and Arshdeep Singh playfully joked about Dube’s hairstyle.

Bishnoi even pointed the camera at him, asking Dube to show off his look.

“Shivam bhai, hairstyle toh dikha do aapki. Trending mein hai aapki hairstyle abhi (Shivam brother, show your hairstyle. Your hairstyle is trending right now),” he said.

Dube spun around, flashing a big smile and giving a thumbs-up. Bishnoi then prompted Axar to share his thoughts on the hairstyle, and Axar responded:

“Saki apni apni choice hoti hai. Khatarnak kya hai usme? (Everyone has their own choice. What is so savage about it?)”

Shivam Dube responded to the buzz around his hairstyle, calling it “cute” since it was trending. Bishnoi and Arshdeep couldn’t hold back their laughter at Dube’s remark.

Shivam Dube’s Bowling Impresses In First T20I

Coming in to bat at number six, Shivam Dube struggled to make an impact in the first T20I, scoring just nine runs off four balls, including a six, before getting out. However, he made a strong impression with the ball.

Dube claimed two crucial wickets in the final over, dismissing Daryl Mitchell and Kristian Clarke, and finished with bowling figures of 2/28 from three overs. In 51 T20Is, Dube has scored 648 runs from 37 innings at an average of 25.92 and a strike rate of 140.56, including four fifties.

With the ball, he has taken 25 wickets from 35 innings at an average of 27.08 and an economy rate of 9.14. Dube will be looking to deliver a complete all-round performance in the second T20I and throughout the rest of the series, as India build momentum ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026.
