The Hundred is a new format of the game which is introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The over format of cricket has been abolished and the match contains only a hundred balls per innings. Also, bowlers are given the privilege of bowling 10 balls continuously. However a bowler can bowl a maximum of 20 deliveries, either two 10 balls spell or 5 ball bursts. Meanwhile, during a match, Alex Hales faced a bizarre incident.

The incident with Hales occurred during the 22nd match between Oval Invincibles and Trent Rockets at Kennington Oval in London. Notably, the match was interrupted by rain and it was reduced to 65 balls per inning. During the toss, Trent Rockets captain Lewis Gregory won the toss and invited Oval Invincibles to bowl first. Meanwhile, Lewis Gregory led side scored 116 in the first innings. Captain Gregory smashed 28 runs off just 12 balls.

In the meantime, The Trent Rockets batter Alex Hales had an awful experience during the match. Hales got hit in the groin two times while batting. The left-arm fast bowler Reece Topley was responsible for Hales getting hit in the groin twice. Notably, Alex Hales fell on the ground and was seen in a lot of pain, however soon physio rushed on the field to help the batsman.

Also, Alex Hales scored 25 off just 15 balls. Notably, his innings were filled with 3 fours and 1 six. Although in the end, Oval Invincibles lost the game by 9 runs.

Rashid Khan and the wicketkeeper incident during The Hundred

One more incident took place during The Hundred league which became the talk of the town. During a match wicketkeeper, Tom Moores stood far away from the stumps when champion spinner Rashid Khan was bowling. Fans were amazed to see the move of the wicketkeeper as the bowler was a spinner. The video of the incident soon went viral on social media.
