India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj received a loud chorus of ‘RCB’ chants when he appeared at AP Dhillon’s recent concert in Pune. The Indo-Canadian singer-rapper and record producer is currently touring multiple cities across India. During the event, AP Dhillon introduced Siraj, who was present at the concert, and said:
“Siraj ji aaye hain yaha (Siraj sir is here).”
The moment the announcement was made, the crowd went into a frenzy, bursting into loud applause and cheers for the star pacer. Siraj responded with a broad smile and waved at the fans as the noise continued. The atmosphere grew even louder as supporters began chanting “RCB, RCB,” with the fast bowler once again breaking into a grin on hearing chants of his former IPL team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Mohammed Siraj also shared a joint post with AP Dhillon on Instagram. The post featured the duo striking different poses, both flaunting trendy and stylish outfits.

The Journey Of Mohammed Siraj With RCB
Mohammed Siraj has shared a special connection with the RCB franchise. He was first picked by the team in 2018 and stayed with them for seven seasons before being released after the 2024 campaign, subsequently joining the Gujarat Titans (GT). In his debut season with RCB, he claimed 11 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 33.36 and an economy rate of 8.95.
The franchise, however, retained faith in him, keeping him on for the following season. Over time, Siraj became a key figure in RCB’s bowling attack. His standout season came in 2023, when he took 19 wickets in 14 games at an impressive average of 19.73 and an economy of 7.50.
In total, he played 87 matches for RCB, picking up 83 wickets, making him the third-highest wicket-taker in the franchise’s IPL history.
