[WATCH]- Axar Patel And Rishabh Pant’s Fun Video Goes Viral Ahead Of DC vs LSG Clash

The 18th season of the IPL has begun. In the fourth match of the season, Delhi Capitals (DC) will face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). This time, both teams will have new captains—Axar Patel will lead Delhi Capitals, while Rishabh Pant will captain Lucknow Super Giants.

Ahead of the match, the two captains met on the field and shared a lighthearted conversation. Their fun interaction was captured in a video that has now gone viral on social media. Notably, the Delhi Capitals vs. Lucknow Super Giants match in IPL 2025 is scheduled for March 24.

In the viral video, Axar Patel is seen asking his teammates about Rishabh Pant’s whereabouts before finally meeting him. As they greet each other with a hug, Pant playfully teases Axar, asking:

“Tujhe batting mil rahi hai?”. To this, Axar humorously replies, “Ab tu nahi hai na toh milegi! Tere chakkar mein mujhe batting nahi milti thi. Meri fight tujhse hi thi.”

Later in the conversation, Axar speaks in Gujarati while calling someone, prompting Pant to joke, “Saari Gujarati yahi bol daalo,” to which Axar responds, “Itni Gujarati toh tujhe aati hai. Tu bhi toh aadha Gujarati hai!” Pant, laughing, says, “Sab samajh aa raha hai.”

Is Rishabh Pant going to lead Lucknow Super Giants?

Rishabh Pant had been playing for Delhi Capitals for a long time, but before IPL 2025, Delhi decided to release him. In the auction, Lucknow Super Giants made a massive bid of ₹27 crore and selected him as their captain. After Pant’s departure from Delhi, fans were left wondering who would be the next captain of Delhi Capitals.

It was widely speculated that KL Rahul, whom Delhi had signed for ₹14 crore, would take over the captaincy. However, Rahul declined the leadership role. As a result, Delhi Capitals appointed Axar Patel as their new captain.
