Indian all-rounder Deepak Chahar, who was out of action for months due to an injury, resumed his training. He had sustained a hamstring quadriceps injury during the third T20I against West Indies in February.

Deepak Chahar was signed by the Chennai Super Kings at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 auctions for a whopping INR 14 crores. However, the all-rounder could not participate, as he picked up a back injury at the NCA and was ruled out of this year’s cash-rich league. Much to the delight of his fans, Deepak Chahar has resumed his training post a long break.

On Tuesday, the right-arm pacer shared a video from his batting net session. He wrote, “Back to Work”, posting the video on Instagram stories. Deepak will also miss the upcoming T20I series against South Africa. He will be determined to recover in time for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

Deepak Chahar has emerged as a very useful batter for India in the lower batting order. He has two half-centuries in the ODI format. In his 20 T20Is and seven ODIs career so far, Deepak has taken 36 wickets. He will be looking forward to making a comeback very soon to the Indian team.
