One of the best captains of Indian cricket, MS Dhoni has a massive fan following all over the world. Recently, he attended an event where he made headlines with his reply to a fan who asked him to pick between CSK & India. That was indirectly asking to pick between India and CSK as well.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni replied that the fans who support CSK know his love for the Indian team and they would never question that as well. However, he also spoke about the future of the Indian Premier League after he led Chennai Super Kings to the fifth in IPL 2023 defeating Gujarat Titans in a thrilling final as well.

“I will 100% pick blue because I know people who love yellow will never question the blue.” Dhoni’s reply went viral in no time.

However, as far as the Indian team’s performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is concerned, they have been on a roll so far winning all 5 matches. They dominated every opponent they have played so far. It has been a superb performance so far with India winning by 6 wickets against Australia, thrashing Afghanistan by 8 wickets, Pakistan and Bangladesh by 7 wickets.

They were given a tough fight by the New Zealand team but prevailed by 4 wickets at Dharamshala. The Indian team will now face England in their next match at Lucknow on 29th October 2023. It promises to be an exciting contest as Men in Blue would look to seal their place in the semi-finals.

MS Dhoni’s performance in IPL as captain

Notably, MS Dhoni won 3 ICC titles including the T20 World Cup in 2007, the 2011 World Cup in India, and the 2013 Champions Trophy played in England. However, MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings to winning 5 titles including the 2023 edition of IPL beating Gujarat Titans in a last-ball thriller helped them to equal Mumbai Indians.
