Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Cameron Green struck a massive six that left a dent on the IPL 2026 sponsor’s car during their clash against Gujarat Titans on Friday, April 17 at Narendra Modi Stadium. The moment came off pacer Ashok Sharma in the 13th over, when he delivered a short-of-length ball on the stumps.
Green quickly read the length and powered it for a commanding six over deep square leg. The ball went on to strike the Tata Sierra display car, leaving a visible dent on the front passenger door. The SUV, which is the official premier sponsor of IPL 2026, is showcased at stadiums during matches.

Cameron Green came to the crease with Kolkata Knight Riders struggling at 21/2 after choosing to bat first. He went on to register his maiden fifty of the season, scoring a solid 79 off 55 deliveries. The Australian had been under scrutiny following a series of below-par performances.
In the previous game against Chennai Super Kings, he was dismissed for a golden duck. However, the right-handed batter made a strong comeback with a crucial innings. Kolkata Knight Riders got off to a disappointing start, losing three wickets inside the powerplay. Cameron Green steadied the innings with important partnerships alongside Rovman Powell and Anukul Roy. Powell contributed 27 off 20 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup failed to deliver meaningful scores.
KKR were eventually bowled out for 180. Kagiso Rabada led the bowling effort with three wickets, while Mohammed Siraj and Ashok Sharma picked up two wickets each. KKR are still searching for their first win of the season and remain at the bottom of the points table with just one point from five matches.
