[WATCH]- Dinesh Karthik Pokes Fun At RCB Coach During The Hundred Clash

Former India wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik cracked a funny remark about Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) coach Andy Flower during the 2025 Men’s Hundred clash between Trent Rockets and Manchester Originals. After the match, Flower was seen talking with Karthik and Dominic Cork.

Karthik humorously noted that Andy Flower was one of the three people he hadn’t seen smiling all summer, alongside India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir and former England captain Nasser Hussain.

“All of UK has complained and tweeted about it and written to Sky Sports, three people over the summer, they haven’t found a way to get them to smile. One is Gautam Gambhir, two is Nasser Hussain in the commentary box, and the third person is you. Why are people not able to see you smiling when you wear the coach’s hat in that dugout?” Karthik funnily asked Flower. (via Sky Sports Cricket)

Flower said people had misunderstood him, and Dinesh Karthik knew it, to which Karthik agreed. The duo had worked together at RCB in IPL 2025, with Flower as head coach and Karthik as mentor and batting coach, leading the team to their maiden IPL title by defeating Punjab Kings in the final.

RCB Star Included In India’s 15-Member Squad For 2025 Asia Cup

One player who shone brightly in RCB’s IPL 2025 title-winning campaign was wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma. Bought for a whopping ₹11 crore in the mega auctions, Jitesh lived up to his price tag with impressive performances.

The right-hander impressed with sharp catches and scored 261 runs in 11 innings at a 176.35 strike rate. His standout performance was an unbeaten 85 off 33 balls against Lucknow Super Giants, which helped RCB secure a top-two finish in the league stage.

Following his IPL heroics, Jitesh Sharma earned a spot in India’s 15-member squad for the 2025 Asia Cup as the second wicketkeeper alongside Sanju Samson, marking his comeback to T20Is after last playing in January 2024.
