The viral picture of the disappointed Pakistan fan Sarim Akhtar has found a place in the Hong Kong Museum of Memes. Akhtar’s pose went viral in the 2019 World Cup match between Pakistan and Australia in Taunton. Australia went onto beat Pakistan in that game as Akhtar’s pose became meme material since that game in the World Cup. Meanwhile, Akhtar himself has shared a post on Twitter of his famous pose.
Sarim Akhtar also posted a picture of his meme that has been featured in the museum. In the picture, Akhtar cab is seen standing with his hands on his hips with a glum face. He was left disappointed at his team’s performance in that game against the Aussies who went onto win the game by 41 runs.

Meanwhile, Sarim Akhtar also shared the post on his own Twitter handle. “I got featured in Hong Kong museum of memes. Yohooo,” Sarim said in the caption of his post.

This particular picture of Sarim Akhtar that sparked a meme fest was from the day the match played on June 14, 2019. Eversince fans have used his meme to associate with how you feel when your favourite team loses a cricket match. Finally, the picture has featured in the Hong Kong Museum of Memes which features the best of memes from all across the globe.
Meanwhile, Pakistan have been put in the same group as India in the upcoming T20 World Cup. The side has not been able to beat India in any of the ICC events so far barring the Champions Trophy 2017 final
The two teams will go head to head once again in the T20 World Cup. The two teams played the first-ever final in the inaugural edition of the tournament way back in 2007. India beat Pakistan in 2012 and 2014 editions as well.
