[WATCH]- Donovan Ferreira Grabs A Spectacular One-Handed Catch In PC vs JSK SA20 2025 Clash

South Africa and Joburg Super Kings (JSK) all-rounder Donovan Ferreira produced a sensational one-handed catch to dismiss Senuran Muthusamy during their SA20 2025 clash against the Pretoria Capitals (PC). The game is currently underway at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

Ferreira had an outstanding performance in the field. Opening the bowling, he made an immediate impact by dismissing Rahmanullah Gurbaz for a golden duck. Returning later in the 17th over, the Proteas spin-bowling all-rounder struck again, removing Jimmy Neesham (30 off 21).

In the final over, bowled by Hardus Viljoen, Muthusamy attempted a straight hit but couldn’t generate enough elevation. Ferreira timed his jump perfectly, pulling off an incredible one-handed catch to send the batter back to the pavilion.

Senuran Muthusamy was dismissed after scoring eight runs from seven deliveries. Eathan Bosch then stepped in to bat for the Pretoria Capitals.

Pretoria Capitals limited to 138/8 against Joburg Super Kings in SA20 2025

After being put in to bat, Pretoria Capitals were restricted to 138/8 in their 20 overs. They lost Rahmanullah Gurbaz (0 off 1) early, but Will Jacks and Kyle Verreyne (39 off 31) began to rebuild the innings with steady batting and partnerships.

However, JSK maintained constant pressure by taking wickets at regular intervals, leaving the Capitals struggling to gain momentum and build any significant partnerships. Jimmy Neesham (30 off 21) was the only other batter to score over 25 runs, but it wasn’t enough to lift the team’s total.

For the Joburg Super Kings, Moeen Ali (2/21 in 4 overs) and Donovan Ferreira (2/17 in 3 overs) were the leading wicket-takers. David Wiese, Hardus Viljoen, Evan Jones, and Imran Tahir each claimed a wicket as well. Play has currently been interrupted by rain, with JSK needing 139 runs to win the match.
