England scripted history on Tuesday as they won their second-ever knockout match in the UEFA European Football Championship. They beat Germany 2-0 in the Round 16 clash and advanced to the Quarterfinal stage. It is also the first time in 55 years that they have beaten Germany at Wembley Stadium.

Captain Harry Kane’s goal in the 86th minute of the match ensured England’s victory. England Cricket Team’s Twitter handle posted a video after the game. The three lions cricketers were celebrating Harry Kane’s goal.

Before Captain Harry Kane’s goal, it was Raheem Sterling who broke the deadlock in the 75th minute to get in front. After the Victory against Germany, England have qualified for the Quarterfinals of the UEFA European Football Championship and will take on Ukraine on Sunday.
