[WATCH] Fun Exchange Between Hardik Pandya And Rishabh Pant Steals The Show At IPL 2026 Captains’ Meet

Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant were in a fun and cheerful mood during the 2026 IPL captains’ meet held at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) headquarters in Mumbai on Wednesday, March 25. The two shared a light-hearted moment and joked around at the event.

Hardik will continue to lead Mumbai Indians (MI), while Rishabh has been retained as the captain of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The funny moment happened when Hardik faced a ball from a bowling machine.

The host asked him to try a no-look shot, but he completely missed the ball while attempting a big hit. Still, in a joking way, Hardik claimed it went for a six. Pant, standing behind as the wicketkeeper, burst out laughing and even signalled a six with his hands.

“I still play Hanuman Chalisa in my Ferrari”: Hardik Pandya shares personal side before IPL 2026

Hardik Pandya recently shared that he listens to the Hanuman Chalisa while driving his Ferrari 12Cilindri. The star all-rounder bought the ₹12 crore luxury car after India’s win in the 2026 T20 World Cup.

The 32-year-old said that listening to the Hanuman Chalisa gives him positive vibes and energy. He spoke about this during Mumbai Indians’ ‘The Mix’ event held at the Jio World Garden in Mumbai.

“Now it is so fascinating that I have a Ferrari, and I still listen to Hanuman Chalisa in that. God has been kind. I think everyone will agree as well, no song can give you the positive energy what Hanuman Chalisa can give. I am very clear with that.”

Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians (MI) will start their IPL 2026 campaign with a home game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, March 30.
