Watch – “Giving Heart Attack Every Over” – Marais Erasmus Hilarious Remark Goes Viral

Marais Erasmus, the on-field umpire for the second Test has recently shared that the Indian team has put him under the pressure, cheekily claiming that the players were giving him a ‘heart attack’ with every over as well.

However, the intensity of the match became high during Shardul Thakur’s spell in the fourth innings of the game as well. Almost every ball he bowled looked like it could be a dismissal and the players were constantly appealing too.

Moreover, Marais Erasmus said that he was under serious pressure when Shardul Thakur appealed for two LBWs and a caught behind for Aiden Markram before the fourth delivery that provided the breakthrough by removing Aiden. And, soon after, Dean Elgar too got out by him.

With this behaviour of Indian players, Erasmus funnily said that the Indian players were “giving a heart attack every over”. As there is no crowd, the conversations can be clearly heard on the stump mic as well.

However, Team India managed to post 266 on the board in their second innings to give South Africa a target of 240 to win the match. And, South Africa is in a better position after the end of the third day as well.

Sunil Gavaskar slams India’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant

Meanwhile, former batting legend Sunil Gavaskar was not impressed by the way Rishabh Pant got out on Day 3 of the second Test between India and South Africa in Johannesburg on Wednesday. Pant fell on a three-ball duck while trying for a big shot coming down the pitch but eventually got out.

It was an irresponsible shot from Rishabh Pant, considering that India had lost both their set batters, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, in quick succession a few overs back. An angry Gavaskar stated that there are no excuses for the shot.

“You have got two new batsmen at the crease and then you saw that shot from Rishabh Pant. Forgettable, no excuses for that shot, no excuses. None of that nonsense about that being his natural game,” said Sunil Gavaskar in the commentary box.
