[WATCH] Haris Rauf Rushed Towards A Fan Following Pakistan’s Debacle In The 2024 T20 World Cup

Pakistani cricketer Haris Rauf was involved in a heated argument with a fan in the USA, exchanging harsh words. Accompanied by his wife, Rauf appeared furious as he charged toward the fan, despite attempts by onlookers to restrain him.

Even as family and friends tried to prevent the confrontation, Rauf jumped over bushes to confront the fan. He lost his footwear in the process but continued undeterred.

Despite efforts from his wife and an official to stop him, Rauf pressed on until the fan eventually walked away. A video of the incident, which took place in the USA, has been circulating online.

Pakistan faces a surprising exit from the 2024 T20 World Cup

Pakistan experienced a heartbreaking exit from the group stage of the 2024 T20 World Cup. They lost to co-hosts USA and arch-rivals India but secured wins against Ireland and Canada.

Despite these victories, Pakistan couldn’t advance as the USA finished second in the points table with five points, qualifying for the Super 8 stage. India remained unbeaten, leading Group A with seven points, including one from an abandoned match.

Pakistan began their World Cup campaign against the USA in a nail-biting match that went to a Super Over. After the USA chased 159 runs in 20 overs to tie the game, they set a 19-run target for Pakistan in the Super Over.

Pakistani batters struggled at key moments, and USA’s Saurabh Netravalkar limited them to 13/1, securing a historic win for the co-hosts. Pakistan’s next match against Rohit Sharma-led India was another thriller.

Despite bowling India out for just 119 in 19 overs, Pakistan’s batters couldn’t capitalize on the bowlers’ efforts. Jasprit Bumrah’s brilliant spell restricted Pakistan to 113/7, giving India a narrow six-run victory.
