New Zealand demonstrated a superior performance, securing a 21-run victory over Pakistan in Hamilton. This win propelled the Kiwis to a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, following their earlier triumph in the Auckland T20I with a 46-run margin.

Finn Allen played a pivotal role in New Zealand’s success, delivering an aggressive innings of 74 runs off 41 balls. His partnership with opener Devon Conway, contributing 59 runs, proved crucial. In the first innings, Haris Rauf stood out with exceptional figures of 3/38, supported by Abbas Afridi (2/43), making his T20I debut.
