[WATCH]- Joe Root Accidentally Dislodges Mohammed Siraj’s Watch While Running On Day 3 Of 4th Test

England batter Joe Root accidentally hit Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj’s watch with his bat while taking a run on Day 3 (Friday, July 25) of the fourth Test being played at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester. The incident occurred during the fifth ball of the 52nd over in England’s innings.

Siraj bowled a delivery down the leg side, which Root tried to flick but missed, and the ball struck his pads. As Siraj appealed with his arms raised, Root began running. During the run, Siraj came in Root’s way, and while trying to avoid a collision, Root unintentionally struck Siraj’s wrist with his bat, causing the watch to fall off and land on the ground.
