The Kings XI Punjab franchise has been one of the most unsuccessful franchises in IPL history. They will be keen to end their barren run this season. According to the team visuals posted on their social media accounts show that the players are training hard to put up a better show this year.
With Ravichandran Ashwin traded to Delhi Capitals, the franchise named KL Rahul as their new captain. The wicket-keeper batsman has been a little over 3 years with the side after being released by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2016.

Meanwhile, the Kings XI Punjab head coach Anil Kumble was into something completely different. He was seen capturing photos with his DSLR Camera. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Kumble use the DSLR as during his days as the India coach, we often saw him capture special moments within the India camp.
Following the day at the beach, the players seen returning to their pre-season training at the ICC Academy. KL Rahul looked in fine touch with some classy inside out shots.
Under Rahul’s leadership, KXIP will be looking to display similar success as they did in 2014 when the first leg was conducted in the UAE. It was also the same season in which we saw Glenn Maxwell‘s blistering form with the bat. Kings XI Punjab fans will be hoping that Maxwell replicates his 2014 success again in 2020.
