Kuldeep Yadav Strikes As India Take Control In Third ODI vs Australia
Kuldeep Yadav struck again as India maintained their grip over Australia in the third ODI. The visitors triggered a mini-collapse after Alex Carey’s dismissal in the 34th over, losing four wickets for just 18 runs. At the latest update, Australia were 216/7 in 42 overs, with Cooper Connolly and Nathan Ellis at the crease.
India will look to prevent Australia from batting out the full 50 overs, aiming for a consolation win in the series under Shubman Gill’s captaincy. Virat Kohli will be eager to regain form after scoring ducks in the first two ODIs. Meanwhile, Connolly will hope to help Australia post a competitive total, having scored a half-century in the previous match.
Australia, led by Mitchell Marsh, have already sealed an unassailable 2-0 series lead, winning the first ODI by seven wickets via DLS in Perth and narrowly taking the second by two wickets in Adelaide. The two sides will next face off in a five-match T20I series, beginning in Canberra on October 29.
