[WATCH]- Ladakh School Students Make Special Request To MS Dhoni Before IPL 2025

A group of school students from Ladakh have made a special request to former India captain MS Dhoni ahead of IPL 2025. The students from Turtuk Valley School expressed their admiration for Dhoni and wished to meet him.

In a video shared by the school on Instagram, the students warmly greeted Dhoni, calling themselves his big fans and expressing their desire to see him in person. They also invited him to visit their school in Turtuk. Notably, one of the students in the video was seen wearing a Chennai Super Kings (CSK) jersey.

“Namaste Dhoni Bhai, hum sab Turtuk se hain, hume aapse milna hai. Hum aapka bohot bada fan hai aur aap humse milne Turtuk aiyega humare mai school mai aapko invite karte hai (Namaste Dhoni, we are from Turtuk and want to meet you. We are very big fans of yours and you please come to meet us in Turtuk our school invites you),” one student said.

MS Dhoni gears up for IPL 2025

MS Dhoni, who stepped away from international cricket in 2020, has remained an active player in the IPL with Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, CSK retained him for ₹4 crore under the ‘uncapped player’ category.

Although Ruturaj Gaikwad will captain the team, Dhoni is expected to play a crucial role both as a player and within the leadership group. The 43-year-old has already begun his preparations for the upcoming season.

MS Dhoni, with 264 IPL matches and 5,243 runs at an average of 39.12 and a strike rate of 137.53, is a seasoned campaigner. As CSK captain, he has led the team to five IPL titles, making them one of the league’s most successful franchises.
