[WATCH] Mohammad Nabi’s Son Stuns Him With Six In Shpageeza League 2025

The Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL) had a special and heart-touching incident on Match 8 when Afghanistan’s legendary all-rounder, Mohammad Nabi, was bowling to his real son, Hassan Eisakhil, and was hit for a mammoth six. This uncommon father-son collision occurred in the initial innings of the match between the Amo region and Mis Aink region. Eisakhil of the Amo Sharks had no mercy on his father, hammering him to 12 runs together with his accomplice Shahidullah.

Nabi had earlier expressed his desire to play with his son for Afghanistan at the highest level, saying, “It’s my dream. Hopefully we can do it. He is doing very well … he is a hard worker and I’m also pushing him to do work.” After the disciplining, Nabi was taken off the attack soon, and Eisakhil proceeded to play a splendid innings.

Hassan Eisakhil was instrumental to Amo Sharks, hitting 52 runs in 36 balls with a strike rate of 144.44. He had some charming shots and set his team in a nice foundation. Amo Sharks, however, collapsed at the backend, losing the five wickets in the last 12 deliveries, making only six runs. At the end, they were all dismissed on 162 off 19.4 overs.

The bowlers of Mis Ainak Knights were brilliant, and Naveed Zadran claimed four wickets, whereas Khalil Gurbaz grabbed three. Two more wickets were grabbed by Mujeeb Ur Rahman. In response, the Mis Ainak Region were fired up and were 105/1 after 8.2 overs and required 58 runs off 70 balls.

Later, Nabi would be raising smiles when the Knights beat the Sharks by five wickets after making the target with 18 balls to spare. The winning runs were struck by Nabi himself in the form of a six and the Knights rose to the top of the table courtesy of the victory.

We have had numerous instances where the father and son played the same game and it is a new initiative altogether should we find both Nabi and Eisakhil in the same Afghanistan dressing room in the international game.
