Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, affectionately called ‘Captain Cool,’ is renowned for his grounded personality off the pitch. A recent social media post captured Dhoni spending cherished moments with his pet dog and his adorable daughter, Ziva.

The video showed Dhoni carefully grooming his furry friend while Ziva enthusiastically joined in to help. Together, they created a heartwarming scene filled with love and affection. The clip offered a glimpse of Dhoni’s tender side, contrasting with the calm and composed persona he exudes on the cricket field.

‘Not much of a social media enthusiast’

Dhoni, who led India to three ICC titles between 2007 and 2013, recently shared his perspective on social media and public relations. Since making his debut in 2004, he has seen the emergence of platforms like Twitter and Instagram.

However, Dhoni has always maintained that performing well on the field eliminates the need for extra PR efforts.

“I have never been a big fan of social media. Throughout, I have had so many managers and all of them keep pushing. I started playing in 2004; Twitter got popular later on, after which Instagram came in.”

”All the managers told me, ‘you should do some PR, build this and build that’. I had the same answer that if you play good cricket, you don’t need PR,” Dhoni said on Eurogrip Tred Talks.

Dhoni is gearing up for his 18th IPL season later this year. Ahead of last year’s mega auction, the Super Kings retained him for INR 4 crore.
