On Saturday, Star Sports, the official broadcasters of the Indian Premier League (IPL), unveiled a teaser for the IPL 2022 promo. In the video, CSK skipper MS Dhoni can be seen sporting a thick moustache and is donning a Khaki uniform, sports shoes and a handkerchief around his neck.
He’s also shown rocking funky-looking sunglasses in another teaser. Before the commencement of the last IPL season, Dhoni had transformed himself into a monk for a few promos.

The ten IPL teams have been divided into two groups of five, for the upcoming season.
Group A: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore
Group B: Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans
MS Dhoni-led CSK to start training camp at Surat for IPL 2022 preparations
Chennai Super Kings will begin a 20-day training camp from March 2 at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat for IPL 2022 preparations. The stadium has hosted several Ranji, Irani, Duleep Trophy matches in the past and is owned by the Surat District Cricket Association (SDCA).
SDCA Cricket Secretary Nainesh Desai stated that the Super Kings chose Surat because the wickets in the stadium have the same soil as Mumbai. A total of 55 out of 70 league matches of the upcoming season will be played in Mumbai, and hence this decision of the Chennai Super Kings can be a masterstroke.
“Top cricketing stars like MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, and other national and international stars will be part of the practice camp. The cricket franchise selected Surat as we have developed pitches using the same soil as it is in Mumbai.”, Desai said as quoted by TOI.
