Former India cricketer MS Dhoni visited Team India’s dressing room at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Thursday, January 26. He interacted with the players, after their practice session. Team India is gearing up for the first of the three-match T20I series, which will take place on Friday, January 27 in Ranchi.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India shared a video on their social media. In the video, MS Dhoni can be seen with Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, and other Indian players. The former cricketer can also be seen interacting with all-rounder Washington Sundar in the video. Sharing it on Twitter, the BCCI wrote, “Look who came visiting at training today in Ranchi – the great @msdhoni!#TeamIndia | #INDvNZ”

Swashbuckling cricketer Prithvi Shaw also shared photography with MS Dhoni on social media. On the back of his performances in domestic cricket, the youngster has earned a comeback to the Indian team. Shaw wrote on Instagram, “When in Ranchi. Happy to spend time some time with Mahi Bhai post-training”

After clean-sweep in ODIs, Team India eyes T20I series win against New Zealand

Team India registered an emphatic series win against New Zealand in the recently concluded ODIs. They pulled on clinical performances, as the visitors failed to make a mark. Heading into the T20I series, the Hardik Pandya-led team will be confident. On the other hand, New Zealand will be keen to make a comeback. The first match will take place on Friday, January 27 in Ranchi. Lucknow and Ahmedabad will host the remaining two matches of the T20I series.
