[WATCH] MS Dhoni’s Daughter Ziva Celebrates Chandrayaan-3’s Landing On Moon; Video Goes Viral

MS Dhoni’s daughter, Ziva, enthusiastically cheered and applauded as the Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram Lander executed a successful gentle landing on the moon’s surface. Capturing this heartwarming moment, Sakshi Dhoni, MS Dhoni’s wife, shared a video on Instagram, which has rapidly gained immense popularity across various social media platforms.

The video highlights the unity of the nation in celebrating India’s unprecedented achievement: becoming the first country in history to achieve a successful lunar landing at the moon’s South Pole. The video posted by Sakshi Dhoni on her active Instagram account reveals Ziva Dhoni engrossed in watching the live telecast of the historic lunar landing on television.

The monumental declaration by ISRO chief S Somanath, stating “India, we are on the moon,” prompted Ziva to break into applause and jubilant cheers.

This heartwarming spectacle resonated deeply with cricket enthusiasts and quickly went viral, captivating social media audiences worldwide. Although MS Dhoni is known for maintaining a private lifestyle away from the public eye and limiting his phone usage, his wife Sakshi is notably active on Instagram, consistently updating fans about their endeavours. While Dhoni rarely employs the photo-sharing platform, his most recent post featured his birthday celebrations at his Ranchi farmhouse.

Dhoni’s most recent appearance was during the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL), where he guided the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to a remarkable fifth IPL title, matching the record for the most successful captain in IPL history, held by Rohit Sharma.

Despite speculations about his retirement, Dhoni indicated he would contemplate a return in 2024, contingent upon his physical condition. Notably, he withdrew from international cricket in 2020, with his final appearance for Team India occurring during the 2019 World Cup semi-final, which culminated in a defeat to New Zealand.

Turning attention to Dhoni’s familial context, he and Sakshi exchanged vows in 2010. The birth of their daughter, Ziva, in 2015—days before the World Cup in Australia—brought immense joy. Frequently spotted in stadiums during Dhoni’s active participation, both Sakshi and Ziva stand as pillars of support for the celebrated cricketer.
