[WATCH]- Nahid Rana Shatters Williamson’s Stumps With A Stunning Delivery

Bangladesh fast bowler Nahid Rana claimed the wicket of New Zealand’s seasoned batter Kane Williamson with a superb delivery during the sixth match of the 2025 Champions Trophy on Monday, February 24. The Group A fixture took place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The dismissal occurred in the fourth over of New Zealand’s chase when Rana faced off against Williamson. On the third delivery, Nahid Rana bowled a rapid 148.8 kph delivery outside off-stump, which skidded and swung slightly away.

Kane Williamson attempted a drive but ended up edging the ball to wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim. You can watch the video here:

Williamson’s dismissal had little effect on the outcome, as New Zealand cruised to a five-wicket win over Bangladesh. Rachin Ravindra starred with a century (112), while Tom Latham (55), Devon Conway (30), and Glenn Phillips (22*) contributed to the successful chase of 237 in 46.1 overs.

“Proud of Our Fight in Middle Overs” – Santner on NZ’s Win vs Bangladesh

Speaking at the post-match presentation, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner shared his thoughts on the victory, stating:

“We knew it would be tough against Bangladesh on this wicket. Proud of the way we pulled things back in the middle overs. Bracewell was outstanding.”

”I mean, he is a quality bowler with the way he changed his pace while bowling to right-handers. He took wickets in the middle phase. The wicket was a belter. There was a little bit of dew. It was a bit more two-paced than I thought.”

He further continued:

“Rachin loves ICC events. Looks like he never left the game. He wasn’t as fluent as he would have liked, but when he gets goings, it’s tough to stop him. We are traveling to Dubai tomorrow morning. It will be a different challenge on a different wicket. Could be a bit on the slower side, I guess.”
