England wicketkeeper Phil Salt took a brilliant catch to dismiss India’s captain Rohit Sharma for a low score in the third ODI of the series on Wednesday, February 12, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The dismissal came on the first ball of the second over when Mark Wood delivered a sharp, good-length ball angling in towards off stump.
The ball straightened off the pitch, catching the edge of Rohit’s bat. Salt reacted swiftly, diving to his right to complete a stunning catch. The 37-year-old Rohit managed just one run off two balls, leaving India at 6/1 after 1.1 overs. You can watch the video here:

After scoring just two runs in the first ODI, Rohit Sharma delivered a brilliant performance in the second match. While chasing 305, he partnered with Shubman Gill (60) for a 136-run opening stand.
Rohit smashed 119 off 90 balls, registering his 32nd ODI century, with 12 fours and seven sixes. India secured a four-wicket victory with 33 balls to spare, sealing the series with an unassailable 2-0 lead.
Rohit Sharma departs early as England choose to bowl first in 3rd ODI
England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to bowl first, making one change as Tom Banton replaced Jamie Overton. India, on the other hand, made three changes, bringing in Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, and Arshdeep Singh in place of Ravindra Jadeja, Varun Chakravarthy, and Mohammed Shami.
The hosts had a shaky start, losing Rohit Sharma for just one run. As of now, India stand at 23/1 after five overs, with Shubman Gill (11) and Virat Kohli (5) at the crease.
