[WATCH]- Rahul Tewatia Grabs a Stunning Catch To Dismiss Rishabh Pant In LSG vs GT Clash
Rishabh Pant

Rahul Tewatia pulled off a fine high catch to send Rishabh Pant back early during the Indian Premier League 2026 clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday, April 12. Pant managed 18 runs off 11 balls, hitting one six and two fours before his dismissal.

The breakthrough came in the fifth over of LSG’s innings when Mohammed Siraj delivered a wobble-seam length ball at 139.9 kmph, shaping it across the batter. Pant attempted an aggressive shot across the line but mistimed it, sending the ball looping towards mid-off.

Tewatia positioned himself perfectly under the skier, kept his eyes fixed till the very end, and completed a composed catch despite tumbling to the ground.

With that dismissal, Rishabh Pant continued his run of low scores in the Indian Premier League 2026, having earlier registered just 7 and 10 against Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders. However, he did produce a standout knock of an unbeaten 68 in the second game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Kagiso Rabada–Mohammed Siraj duo powers GT to a bright start vs LSG

Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Siraj struck early to hand the Gujarat Titans a solid start against the Lucknow Super Giants in their Indian Premier League 2026 clash. Rabada made an immediate impact by removing Mitchell Marsh for 11 off just four balls. At the time of writing, LSG were 60/2 after six overs, with Aiden Markram and Ayush Badoni at the crease.

GT came into this game on the back of a thrilling one-run win over Delhi Capitals, which marked their first victory of the season after defeats to Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals. On the other hand, LSG pulled off a remarkable chase of 182 against Kolkata Knight Riders, powered by Mukul Choudhary’s unbeaten 54 off 27 balls, taking their tally to two wins from three matches.

Notably, LSG have dominated this fixture recently, remaining unbeaten against GT in their last three meetings, with the Titans’ last win over them coming back in 2023.
