Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old from the Rajasthan Royals, came back to his village, Tajpur in Samastipur district, and got a grand reception. When he broke the record with a century in the 2025 IPL, everyone was talking about him and his family, and the community welcomed him with garlands, cheers, and a cake-cutting ceremony. Each villager could feel the joy and pride of everyone when they saw the “Welcome Back Home” cake. A big celebration was held, with villagers, neighbors, and childhood friends all grateful to celebrate his achievement.

As Vaibhav Suryavanshi explored the streets of Tajpur, many people admired him and wanted to spend time with him. His climb from a village in Bihar to national fame was truly awe-inspiring. Because of his powerful 35-ball hundred, Vaibhav set several records and inspired people from all over the country.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi: Breaking Records and Making History

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s fastest IPL century against Gujarat Titans made him famous and gave him a new life overnight. He set records, becoming the first teenager ever to score a hundred in a T20 game and also the fastest Indian to get one in IPL cricket. Last season, the southpaw scored 252 runs from only seven matches, maintaining an impressive strike rate of 206.55. Vaibhav’s latest achievement came after breaking a 58-ball century against Australia when he was younger, impressing coaches and selectors.

Once the selectors realized how well Vaibhav had played in the IPL and earlier in youth cricket, they wanted him on the team. His selection for the India Under-19 team headed to England showed what a talented and hard-working player he is.

The tour gives Vaibhav the opportunity to play in unfamiliar conditions and he hopes to prove himself in the international match. Leaving the village for the national Under-19 squad, Vaibhav Suryavanshi had the hopes of his fellow villagers and those who love cricket on his shoulders.
