Gujarat Titans’ megastar Rashid Khan recently disclosed how he polished the ‘Snake Shot’, which he has played frequently whenever he has batted.

The Afghanistan leggie shared a video of him smashing the shot with a golf stick! Khan posted the video via his official social media handles. The shot is a combination of Mahendra Singh Dhoni‘s Helicopter shot and a Hockey player’s drag-flick. The video has received thousands of likes.

Along with the video, Khan tweeted: “The helicopter has landed in (flag of UAE). Was that a hole in one?” indicating that the cricketer has flown to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), after the hectic Indian Premier League (IPL) stint.

Besides, Khan, with Gujarat Titans (GT) this year, won his maiden IPL title, last month. He had to withstand ample criticism in the middle of the tournament, for his performance below the expectations with the ball. The 23-year-old captured 19 wickets in 16 innings, at a reasonable economy of 6.59, with a four-wicket haul alongside.

With the bat, Khan produced some memorable innings for his franchise. His highest score came against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a league stage game. Khan scored 40 runs in just 21 deliveries. While against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), his former franchise, Khan scored 31 runs off 11 balls.

Talking over his batting abilities after the contest against SRH at the Wankhede on April 27, Khan had quoted: “From the last two-three years I’ve been working on my batting. I have that self-belief that I should be there and finishing for the team”. I have those skills and talent but it was just about the confidence in myself; that I could finish. The best thing is I get more opportunity here in this team to bat.”
