Overcoming captain Rohit Sharma for honor, Ravindra Jadeja was awarded as Impact Fielder.
Ravindra Jadeja had an outstanding outing on the day, bowling ten overs, giving away only 30 runs and taking one very important wicket. He batted for a little over 15 minutes and scored nine runs in the final stretch, forming a partnership with KL Rahul to steer India to victory. The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final marks India’s second ICC title following their T20 World Cup victory in 2024. Their brilliant performances have assured them of being amongst the top teams in international cricket. With this title, India is now the only team in the history of cricket to have won the Champions Trophy three times.
The great victory of the Indian cricket team is appreciated by India’s fielding coach, T. Dilip, in the video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), where this moment celebration is shown.
“I think if you really look at the whole tournament, there is one takeaway. I feel it is this. That no effort on the field was ever too small. Why I say is because every single commitment on the field was fueling a common goal. And tonight, the goal is right in front of us. We are champions! Yeah!” said T Dilip.
With their victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, they marked the Journey of the Indian cricket team with dedication and hard work. Looking ahead to the next tournaments, the Indian cricket team promises to create ripples in international cricket again.
